The accumulated data up to October 2025 reveal a historic milestone: the country has received&nbsp;<strong>85.7 million international tourists<\/strong>, a figure that not only represents a&nbsp;<strong>increase of 3,5%<\/strong>&nbsp;compared with the same period of the previous year, but already&nbsp;<strong>1.6% more visitors than the total number of visitors registered for the whole of 2019.<\/strong>, before the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the real indicator of success lies not only in the volume of arrivals, but also in the quality of spending. During these ten months, the total expenditure of international tourists has reached the impressive figure of&nbsp;<strong>101.4 billion euros<\/strong>, which is a&nbsp;<strong>increase of 15.3%<\/strong>&nbsp;compared to 2024. This growth in spending, which is much higher than the number of visitors, is a clear sign that the strategy of attracting higher value-added tourism is bearing fruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main issuing markets continue to show great loyalty to Spain. The&nbsp;<strong>United Kingdom<\/strong>&nbsp;leads the ranking with&nbsp;<strong>17.3 million tourists<\/strong>, followed by&nbsp;<strong>France<\/strong>&nbsp;(10.9 million) and&nbsp;<strong>Germany<\/strong>&nbsp;(9.9 million). The average expenditure per tourist stood at&nbsp;<strong>1,183 euros<\/strong>a&nbsp;<strong>11,4% more<\/strong>&nbsp;than in the same period of the previous year, while the average daily expenditure has increased by&nbsp;<strong>7,8%<\/strong>, to the&nbsp;<strong>182 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This extraordinary performance of the tourism sector has a direct and positive impact on its entire value chain, and especially on the tourism sector.&nbsp;<strong>Flexible Accommodation<\/strong>. The massive arrival of travellers, with increasingly diverse profiles, boosts the demand for tourist flats, student residences,&nbsp;<em>coliving<\/em>&nbsp;and other modalities that offer an alternative to traditional hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strength of tourism not only fills hotels and flats; it also boosts commerce, restaurants, transport and leisure, consolidating itself as a fundamental pillar of the Spanish economy.
