About Malaga

With decades of tourism experience and key factors such as a year-round mild and sunny climate, excellent national and International transport links and a wealth of venues, caterers and service suppliers to hand, Malaga has become the preferred choice for MICE tourism in Europe and one of the top five destinations in Spain.

We bring you all the information you need to organize your next trip to VITUR Summit.

How to get to Malaga

Malaga is the second most important communications and transport hub in Spain and the first in the south of the country.

The Pablo Ruiz Picasso international airport, 9 km from the city center, allows you to get from Malaga to major European cities in an average of 2 to 3 hours.

A railway network with a High-Speed line was also added in December 2007, connecting Malaga with Madrid and other cities from the south of Spain.

Furthermore, the dense network of motorways provides quick access to the city, which is surrounded by the East and West Ring Roads.

Where to stay

The capital of the Costa del Sol is one of the leading destinations for short-term rentals in Europe and hosts the biggest number of holiday rentals in Andalusia, with a variety of high quality and modern rentals.
